Enterprises do analysis to produce business intelligence. Data warehouses are today’s principal platforms for analysis where intelligence is extracted from an enterprise’s bits and bytes. Since the mid-1990’s, Barquin International has been fully dedicated to the design, implementation, deployment and operations of data warehouses as the core of business intelligence solutions for Federal government agencies.
The "Barquin Methodology for Building a Data Warehouse" is a sixteen step process that has been utilized, both domestically and overseas, in data warehousing engagements for nearly twenty years. It starts with a project plan and requirements gathering and goes through testing, training and deployment. Whatever your data challenge may be, we have the expertise and staff to assist you in developing a custom data management solution.
Barquin International has trained many of the IT professionals in the data warehousing practices of major consulting firms currently engaged in data warehousing work for the Federal government, such as Deloitte Consulting, BearingPoint, Lockheed Martin and others. For the Army, we have been the principal trainer in knowledge management as part of their Army Knowledge Management strategy, putting over 1000 members through our courses. In addition, we have done direct training for a number of agencies including the Navy, the FBI, GSA and the Social Security Administration.
